What we do:
Home Planning Associated Inc. is a full service design firm providing custom residential designs for new homes as well as remodeling, additions and restorations. We have been providing design services for builders, contractors and individuals around the Twin Cities, as well as in Wisconsin since 1972. Although we specialize in creating unique custom designs, we also have a variety of stock plans to choose from. Our stock plans can be easily modified to meet your lot conditions and other needs. Home Planning Associates Inc. also specializes in accessible custom homes. As a full service design and drafting firm, Home Planning Associates Inc. has a wide variety of abilities. In addition to traditional hand drawing capabilities, we can provide computer aided drafting services which allow us to deliver preliminary and final plans in an electronic format and/or we can produce your large format prints in house.

Home Planning Associates Inc. can also assist you with your marketing needs by providing presentation drawings and color renderings.

Philosophy:
Our philosophy is to listen to you, the client first. This allows us to create a design that meets your needs and desires. We understand that each of our clients is unique, so our goal is to accommodate all of their needs and desires in their new or remodeled home, in a way that reflects their own style.

Who we are:
Charles Egberg has been a professional home designer for over 36 years. He started with Home Planning Service in 1972 and has owned the company since 1986. Chuck earned his Architectural Drafting degree from Dunwoody Industrial Institute.

Perry Laden joined Home Planning Associates Inc. in 1998. He has been a professional designer for 18 years. In addition to hands on construction experience, Perry has a degree in Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
